Season 01 revamps Black Ops 7 Battle Pass with free weapons and faster unlocks
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Call of Duty: Warzone kick off Season 01 at 9AM on December 4. Treyarch’s overview details a refreshed Battle Pass structure spread across multiple pages with 100-plus earnable rewards, including new Operators, Operator Skins, Weapon Blueprints, cosmetics and more. All base weapons in the pass remain free to unlock. The studio also flags several first-time changes aimed at making progression faster and more flexible across modes.

What’s launching and how it’s structured
The Season 01 Black Ops 7 Battle Pass is organized into 14 pages plus a Completion Page. Players begin with an Instant Rewards page and Page 1 unlocked; later pages open as you claim more rewards. Each page includes up to six items you can unlock in any order using Battle Pass Tokens, plus a page-ending HVT (High Value Target) reward – typically an Operator Skin or Weapon Blueprint. Pages (excluding BlackCell, Instant and Completion) contain a mix of free and premium items; when both standard and HVT items are unlocked, the page is marked complete.

Quality-of-life features include an Auto Claim option that spends tokens as you play, or manual token banking for targeted unlocks. Progress tracking is centralized in the Overview tab, showing COD Points earned, unlocked Operators, Blueprints, base weapons and overall completion.
Progression changes and first-time improvements

- Adjusted unlock timing – Based on Black Ops 6 data, tuning updates aim to make each season’s pass feel more rewarding for time invested across all modes.
- Shorter early pages – Initial pages require fewer tiers to reach HVTs, while later pages hold more rewards, front-loading high-value content earlier in the climb.
- Battle Pass Tokens from Daily Challenges – For the first time, bonus Daily Challenge completions can grant tokens on select days, and these challenges are available in Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone, plus Co-Op Campaign and Endgame.
Key Operators: Dorne steps up, Scorn joins BlackCell

Purchasing the Season 01 Battle Pass grants Dorne as an Instant Reward Operator, including his “Adjutant” skin. In the game’s fiction, Dorne has seized control of The Guild and emerges as a central antagonist moving against David Mason and JSOC.

BlackCell features Scorn as its marquee Operator – an autonomous frontline enforcer built for short-window, high-risk assaults and CQB dominance. Scorn’s loadout emphasizes reactive armor and breach tactics.

Weapon Blueprints: pages, HVTs and variants

Across Season 01, the Battle Pass and BlackCell combine for 20-plus earnable Blueprints. HVT Blueprints often include paired BlackCell variants, with some Mastercraft or Reactive options featuring Tracers and Death FX. Below is a non-exhaustive snapshot of where several stand in the track.

Prestige unlocks: Any weapon earned via the pass remains accessible throughout Military Ranks and the full ten Prestige levels, preserving Prestige Tokens for other unlocks.
Reticles, equipment skins and finishers

Season 01 disperses new reticles and equipment skins across the track, including Linked (Instant), Candle (Page 2) and Converge (Page 10) reticles, plus skins like Clash for Cluster Grenade (Page 3) and Digital Breakdown for EMP Grenade (Page 9). Finishing Moves and emotes are also spread through pages – examples include Fast Work (Page 1), “Wanna See a Magic Trick?” (Page 4), Electro-Pop (Page 12), plus emotes such as Don’t Even Start (Page 7) and Get Good (Page 14). Sprays like Synth Enhancement (Page 3) and Entity (Page 8) round out the cosmetic set.
Completion Page rewards

Finishing all pages unlocks the Completion Page with final items: 200 COD Points, the Dorne “Disharmony” Operator Skin and its BlackCell variant, the Dissonance AK-27 Assault Rifle Blueprint, an animated Calling Card (“No Slowing Down”), an animated Emblem (“Energized One”) and the “Gift Card” GobbleGum.
Why it matters – faster progression, more flexibility

The Season 01 pass focuses on quicker early unlocks, broader mode coverage for Daily Challenges and a clearer page-by-page chase anchored by HVT rewards. For players, that means earlier access to standout cosmetics and blueprints, while the two free base weapons expand loadout options across Multiplayer, Zombies and Warzone.
