CD Projekt Red has detailed Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3, a free patch arriving July 17. The update focuses on traversal, adding hands‑free AutoDrive and a fully operational Delamain taxi service, plus fresh quests and vehicles. Photo Mode receives a sizable expansion with new controls and assets, and there are notable graphics and performance options added across platforms. The rollout coincides with the Ultimate Edition launch on Mac, with the update also available on Mac the same day. CD Projekt Red notes the patch was developed in partnership with Virtuos.

Travel reworked: AutoDrive and Delamain

Players can now set a waypoint and let their owned vehicle navigate there automatically via AutoDrive – a fully hands‑free option for crossing Night City. Alternatively, the Delamain taxi network can be summoned, allowing you to select a destination and ride as a passenger for a fee. Both modes support cinematic camera angles, offering new ways to take in the city while in transit.

New content: quests and vehicles

  • Vehicles: one new motorcycle and three new cars, including the Yaiba Semimaru featured in the Cyberpunk 2077: Kickdown comic.
  • Unlock method: vehicles are tied to associated quests that must be completed to obtain them.

Photo Mode gets deeper control

Update 2.3 broadens Photo Mode with weather and time‑of‑day controls to craft the exact scene. It also adds a larger selection of NPCs, outfits, and poses, alongside new stickers and frames. Players can now fine‑tune how NPCs look at the camera during shoots, with more precise control over head, eyes, and shoulders across any pose.

Technical updates

  • VRR on consoles
  • AMD FSR4 support
  • AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Generation
  • Intel XeSS 2.0
  • Improved HDR settings and additional under‑the‑hood changes
