Inside Monument: Delta Force’s new pyramid-scale battleground
Delta Force on Xbox Series X|S has introduced a major battleground for its Warfare mode – the Monument map, now live with Season Ahsarah. The Xbox release has been available for a little over three months and currently offers three distinct modes. Monument leans into series legacy, reimagining ideas from Delta Force: Land Warrior while emphasizing authenticity through field research and photogrammetry.
Alongside the map, the season adds the Engineer Operator Gizmo and console-focused updates, including console-only cross-play and native mouse and keyboard input on Xbox Series X|S.

What’s in the update
- New map – Monument (Warfare mode): a large, multi-route battlefield with numerous POIs, inspired by “Operation Monument” from Delta Force: Land Warrior.
- Season Ahsarah: the seasonal drop that delivers Monument, Engineer Operator Gizmo, and additional content.
- Platform features: console-only cross-play and native mouse and keyboard support, plus other console-specific improvements.

Three modes on Xbox Series X|S
Delta Force currently offers three modes designed for different playstyles:

- Operations: an accessible, operator-driven extraction shooter.
- Black Hawk Down (PvE campaign): cooperative scenario-based missions.
- Warfare: large-scale infantry and vehicle skirmishes across a growing rotation of maps, now including Monument.
A classic mission, reimagined through on‑site research
Team Jade shifted from its usual “gameplay-first” process to an authenticity-first approach after visiting the real-world pyramid complex the map draws from. The team rebuilt its initial greybox to match the true elevation changes, scale, and atmosphere – work that was reinforced by photogrammetry scans back at the studio.

Sector-based flow from dunes to the inner chambers
Monument is divided into four sectors, each with its own rhythm and terrain, building a clear sense of progression as the match advances. Sector A frames an abandoned town, Sector C pushes across open dunes, and Sector D moves combat inside the pyramid with a maze of passages. Beyond crafted corridors, players can discover tomb-raider tunnels that open alternate flanking routes and traversal options.
“Sector D brings us inside the pyramid itself, with a maze of passages.” – Kai, Level Designer
