Sony reveals 27-inch PS5-ready monitor launching in 2026
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a new PlayStation-branded 27-inch gaming monitor designed for desktop play. The display targets PS5 and PS5 Pro users who want a smaller-footprint setup, while also supporting PC and Mac. It features QHD resolution, HDR with Auto HDR Tone Mapping, and VRR for smoother motion. A built-in DualSense/DualSense Edge charging hook is integrated into the chassis. The monitor is slated to arrive in the U.S. and Japan in 2026.
Display and performance

The monitor uses an IPS panel with resolution up to 2560×1440, aimed at comfortable viewing from a desk. For PS5 and PS5 Pro, HDR setup is automated via Auto HDR Tone Mapping – designed to optimize HDR levels during initial console configuration. Variable Refresh Rate is supported to reduce tearing and improve motion clarity across compatible content.
