What’s new on Xbox: more Play Anywhere games and cloud options
Xbox detailed a round of platform updates spanning handheld play indicators, cross‑device libraries, cloud streaming, retro offerings, and input support. The company says over 1,000 games now participate in Xbox Play Anywhere, while the Stream your own game catalog for cloud has surpassed 1,000+ owned titles. Retro Classics continues to grow with new arrivals, and Xbox is adding more mouse, keyboard, and touch‑enabled games in the cloud. There’s also a new Fallout 76 dynamic background for Xbox Series X|S.
Handheld Compatibility Program – clearer signals for portable play

Xbox’s Handheld Compatibility Program adds labels to help players find games optimized for handhelds. These markers now appear on product pages across Windows devices and in a dedicated handheld‑compatible channel on supported Windows handhelds. Recently, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Fortnite were added to the program.
