Games requiring a Game Pass subscription

The First Berserker: Khazan

A hardcore action RPG set on the continent of Arad where you play as Khazan, a fallen general of the Pell Los Empire. Expect deliberate, systems-heavy combat against varied enemies and bosses as you piece together the events behind Khazan’s downfall and push through repeated defeats to progress.

Hammerwatch 2

A top-down, pixel-styled ARPG that leaves the dungeons of Castle Hammerwatch for a broader overworld. You rally behind King Roland’s resistance, assist villages, and fight hordes of undead and other creatures in a clear homage to classic action RPGs.

Free for all Xbox members

Hypnospace Outlaw

  • ’90s internet simulator where you patrol a weird, nostalgic web to track down rule-breakers.
  • Manage your inbox, viruses and adware while downloading apps that may help—or hinder—your investigations.
  • Supports Xbox Play Anywhere.

Let’s Build a Zoo

A lighthearted management sim focused on building and running a zoo. You import and breed animals, hire staff, keep visitors satisfied, and deal with unpredictable events. A standout twist is DNA splicing that allows you to create more than 300,000 hybrid variations, from quirky mixes like a Giraffephant to other imaginative combinations. Features Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere.

Biped 2

  • Co-op action-adventure starring two bipedal robots, Aku and Sila.
  • Emphasis on teamwork-driven puzzles, rhythm and coordination.
  • Optimized for Xbox Series X|S with Smart Delivery.

How to play during the event

During November 27-30, the games are available via the Free Play Days collection in the Xbox Store on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Titles marked as “requires Game Pass subscription” need an active membership for access during the event window.

Why it matters – a weekend to sample across genres

This Free Play Days mix covers action RPGs, co-op puzzling, sim management and an offbeat detective experience. It is a compact way to test varied genres in a single weekend – whether you want precise boss fights, a nostalgic web patrol, or a sandbox for creative hybrids.
