The next time-limited Emerald Rush event in Donkey Kong Bananza is live soon, and it comes with a twist. Titled Dig the Beat, the run opens Tuesday, December 16 at 12:00 a.m. PT and closes Monday, December 22 at 11:59 p.m. PT. During the window, players can secure in-game statues of Ninja Kong and Ghastly Kong. The event is exclusive to the Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC.
What’s new in Dig the Beat
Unlike a standard Emerald Rush, this event removes roll-of-the-dice elements. According to the official notice, systems that are usually random – including the Skills obtained from Banandium Gems – will be predetermined. That setup pushes the mode toward routing and execution rather than luck.
