Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe has outlined the next chapter for its flagship fighter. TEKKEN 8 Season 3 begins in March 2026, bringing wide-ranging balance adjustments and a global rank reset. The publisher also confirmed three incoming characters for the season: Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. The competitive spotlight closed with DRX | LowHigh crowned TEKKEN WORLD TOUR FINALS 2025 champion after the Malmö, Sweden showdown.
Season 3 Roadmap and Gameplay Changes
Season 3 aims to refine the meta and refresh progression. Here is what is officially set so far:
- Start window: March 2026
- System-wide balance updates to further tune the gameplay experience
- Rank reset applied at the start of the season
- Roster additions: Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. confirmed for the season
- First Season 3 character: Kunimitsu is scheduled for late spring 2026
- Season content plan: four characters are planned across Season 3
Competitive Results and the Next Tekken World Tour
The TEKKEN WORLD TOUR FINALS 2025 concluded with DRX | LowHigh taking the championship in Malmö, Sweden. Bandai Namco also lifted the lid on the next circuit: TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2026 will kick off in May 2026 at EVO Japan and conclude with the final Master Event at Thaiger Uppercut 2026. The season’s Master+ events include EVO Japan, EVO Las Vegas, and EVO Nice, with additional Master events to be announced later this year.
