Patch Brings Ultimate Battle Hub, Mission 100 and Tougher Ai
Table of Content Зміст статті

The latest update focuses on expanding single-player options and tuning core combat systems. The main menu now features a dedicated Ultimate Battle hub, which also houses Custom Battle. A new solo mode, Mission 100, has been added to this section. Competitive players get a higher challenge with an Ultra CPU difficulty above Super, while Edit Mode raises the maximum CPU level to 21.

Beyond modes, the patch makes targeted balance changes to Ki mechanics, blasting behaviors, and follow-up windows. It also introduces practical quality-of-life updates, including a bulk-purchase option in the Shop and new player-card streak tracking for ranked play.

New Modes and Menu Changes

  • Ultimate Battle hub – added to the main menu; Custom Battle is moved inside this section.
  • Mission 100 – a new solo mode available within Ultimate Battle.
  • Versus difficulty – added Ultra above Super for CPU opponents.
  • Edit Mode cap – maximum CPU level increased to 21.

Combat System Tuning – Ki Economy and Follow-Ups

Several systems were adjusted to make Ki use and recovery more consistent and to smoothen follow-up opportunities, especially for taller characters.

Ki-Related Changes at a Glance

The table below summarizes how Ki flow is affected across multiple actions.

System Change
Super Perception Increased Ki recovery when deflecting a Blast.
Rush Ki Wave Now reduces the opponent’s Ki when they guard the move.
Jump Rush Blast Reduced Ki consumption.
Dash Rush Ki Blast Reduced Ki consumption for characters that fire 7+ shots.

Consistency, Counters, and Ui

  • Smash Ki Blast – fixed an issue where consecutive hits sometimes failed to knock down.
  • Vanishing Attack – easier for tall characters to land follow-ups on grounded opponents.
  • Action lock during Ki depletion – certain counter actions that were usable are now disabled.
  • Button-mashing UI – now appears properly.

Skill and Blast Updates

The patch refines how specific skills persist during high-speed movement and ensures blasts behave predictably at different ranges and search states.

  • Solar Flare – its effect no longer ends when approaching an affected opponent with Dragon Dash or Z-Burst Dash.

Blast Behavior Adjustments

  • Forward-firing projectile/beam – adjusted the hitbox toward the rear of the character during firing.
  • Charge/Rush-type – improved hit consistency at point-blank range; some blasts that could activate with Z-Search disabled can no longer be used.
  • Explosion-type – some blasts that could not be activated with Z-Search disabled can now be used.
  • Cell Max: Max Bomb – now unblockable.

Quality-of-Life and Stats Tracking

Outside combat, the update targets convenience and competitive records.

  • Shop – added a bulk-purchase feature.
  • Player Card – added Longest Ranked Single Battle Win Streak and Longest Ranked DP Battle Win Streak for both the current season and lifetime totals.

Why It Matters – a Sharper Solo Path and Clearer Meta

Mission 100 gives solo players a defined long-form challenge, while Ultra CPU raises the ceiling for practice. Ki and blast tweaks should stabilize match flow and counterplay, and the new bulk-buy and streak tracking features provide small but useful wins for everyday play. If you lean into lab work or ranked grinds, these changes aim to make both more transparent and rewarding.
